Green Oak TV Table

This customer was looking for a very particular look. He wanted a primitive and rough stand made from green oak for his new TV equipment that would contrast starkly with the hi-tech plastic and chrome of the equipment.

Timber with flaws in it was deliberately chosen and it was recognised that the wood would split and crack over time to add to the effect. However the pieces were carefully dimensioned to exactly accommodate the various equipment components.
