Garden Room
This customer have an old dilapidated shed, but rather than knock it down and start again wanted to use the basic structure which had old timber with a lot of character. The original Crittall steel windows frames were retained. They were snt for dipping to remove the old paint and give fresh coats of black Hammerite. We stripped the old cladding and roof, repaired or replaced any rotten wood, re-clad the outside with oak waney edge board, re-roofed it in cedar shingles, lined it with tongue and groove shiplap board, and hung a pair of french windows. As a final touch a pair of turned oak finals were added to the gable ends.
